Do you deliver the boat to our rental cottage or home on Conesus lake?

We would be glad to deliver the pontoon anywhere on Conesus Lake. Please confirm cottage has available dock space, a 24' pontoon can be tied up safely and securely in the space.

Question 2

Is fuel included in the price?

Accepted Answer

No, fuel used during the rental is your responsibility.

The following will be charged if the pontoon is returned with less fuel than noted at initial time of rental. (30.00 per ¼ tank of non-ethanol gasoline)
          1/4 tank - $30
          1/2 tank - $60
          3/4 tank - $90
          Full tank - $120

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We will refund your deposit if you notify us at least 30 days in advance of your rental starting date.

Within the 30-day window there may be flexibility as the pontoons will typically re-rent and if so, we will also return your deposit.

Call if there are circumstances beyond your control and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do I need a NYS boating safety certificate?

Accepted Answer

Completion of the NYS Boaters Safety Certificate Online course is highly recommended prior to rental as Brianna's Law extends to all motorboat operators beginning in 2025, regardless of age.

Although everyone is required to have completed to operate a vessel in New York State per Brianna's Law, agree or disagree, rental boats are exempt and you may rent and operate a pontoon without a certificate.

Demonstration and conversation on safety equipment, how to operate and navigate safely will be required at time of rental. Please plan for any persons responsible for operation present at time of delivery.
